Job summary

Realm Recruit in Cheltenham is seeking a Senior Private Client Solicitor to manage a varied caseload of high-value Private Wealth matters, including trusts and private client tax work. You’ll work with senior Partners and tax specialists in a supportive, employee-owned firm.

The role emphasises professional development with potential to progress toward Partnership. You’ll benefit from hybrid working, generous development plans, and a culture focused on client service and collaboration.

Qualifications

• Qualified Solicitor with substantial Private Client experience.
• Strong practical experience of trusts and private client tax matters.
• Understanding of inheritance tax, lifetime gifting and estate planning.
• Experience advising high-net-worth clients.
• STEP or CTA qualification, or willingness to work towards one.

Responsibilities

• Manage a varied caseload of high-value Private Wealth matters.
• Advise on trusts, inheritance tax and estate planning.
• Support lifetime gifting and succession planning strategies.
• Consider CGT and income tax implications.
• Mentor junior colleagues and contribute to the firm’s culture.
