Job summary

William James Recruitment is seeking a Private Client Solicitor to join a respected Lancashire firm in a senior, strategic capacity. You will manage a high-quality caseload of estates and help steer the private client department.

With 8+ PQE, you will mentor juniors, contribute to growth, and advise on wills, trusts, probate and tax planning while maintaining client relationships. Salary up to £100,000 plus benefits and pension.

Qualifications

• Senior Private Client Solicitor with 8+ PQE preferred, willing to handle complex estates.
• Strong expertise in wills, trusts, probate and tax planning.
• Experience leading or mentoring junior team members.

Responsibilities

• Manage complex estates and high-value probate matters.
• Advise high net worth individuals on tax and estate planning.
• Draft wills and establish lifetime and protective trusts.
• Prepare lasting powers of attorney and estate administration.
• Provide technical guidance and contribute to department growth.
