Amazon UK Services Ltd. is seeking a Senior Privacy Specialist to own cross-functional privacy programs within Customer Service Trust & Compliance.

You will define privacy strategy, design long-term solutions, and drive risk reduction across data processing activities, collaborating with Legal and product teams to influence roadmaps and measure outcomes. The role requires navigating ambiguity, building scalable privacy controls, and partnering with CS systems to protect customer data and trust

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • Experience in compliance, audit or risk management.
  • Extensive experience in privacy, data governance, compliance, or related domain across two or more privacy areas.
  • Experience creating written documentation for executive or cross-functional audiences.

Responsibilities

  • Own the lifecycle of complex, cross-functional privacy programs from strategy to execution and continuous improvement.
  • Define program objectives and drive privacy improvements with measurable metrics.
  • Assess privacy implications across products, services, and data flows; identify high-risk processing and mitigation.
  • Partner with Legal and product teams to negotiate obligations and drive decisions at senior levels.
  • Operationalise regulatory and legal requirements into program controls; oversee rollout and measurement across CS systems.
  • Streamline processes, reduce manual work, and drive automation to enable innovation.
  • Manage vendor and third-party privacy governance and data transfer agreements.
