Job summary

Domestic & General is seeking a Senior Data Protection Manager to lead our Risk & Compliance privacy program. Hybrid role with the Wimbledon office, overseeing DPIAs, privacy incidents and regulatory interactions to ensure GDPR compliance across the organisation.

You will advise on projects, contracts and international transfers, and provide leadership to privacy analysts while maintaining strong relationships with senior stakeholders and the GDPO.

Qualifications

• Experience overseeing DPIAs, DSRs, LIAs and privacy incidents.
• Translate complex privacy requirements into practical, risk-based controls.
• Provide risk-based advisory across projects, suppliers and contracts.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, influencing and stakeholder mgmt.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day privacy operations and ensure records, DPIAs, LIAs, DSRs and incidents progress to standards.
• Own quality and consistency of privacy processes, templates, records and reporting inputs.
• Provide senior risk-based advice to business teams on projects and international transfers.
• Lead operational privacy risk assessments and escalate material risks to the GDPO.
• Prepare and present management information and compliance insights for oversight.
• Coordinate inputs for regulatory enquiries and draft responses; manage follow-up actions.
• Provide technical leadership and QA to Analysts supporting privacy activity.
