Senior / Principal Process Engineer

About the role:

As a Senior / Principal Process Engineer in the Process Engineering team, you will be working to ensure the successful commercialisation of our novel technology.

You will:

1. Take the lead on projects within the process engineering team and be a key part of the process design of future products.
2. Support product testing and commissioning.
3. Work closely with other engineering disciplines, production, and R&D functions to deliver company objectives.
4. Be comfortable working with ambiguity and complexity and can work effectively without supervision.

Key skills and experience required:

1. A degree in Chemical Engineering, 5 years’ experience at Engineer level.
2. Demonstrated ability to successfully deliver projects.
3. Experience in Chemical Engineering Design and Technology Development gained from working across relevant industries.
4. Knowledge of process design calculations, process systems design, P&IDs, process optimisation, sizing, and selection of equipment.
5. Working knowledge of critical safety requirements for process plants and familiarity with techniques such as HAZOP and LOPA.
6. Previous commissioning experience.
