Senior/Principal Transport Planner
Basingstoke

I'm working with a well-regarded consultancy that's expanding their teams in Basingstoke and the Solent, and they're looking for experienced Senior and Principal Transport Planners to help deliver a wide range of development planning projects across the residential, commercial, retail, and leisure sectors.

What You'll Be Doing:
- Preparing and reviewing Transport Assessments, Travel Plans, and Environmental Statement chapters.
- Taking ownership of small to mid-sized projects, managing deadlines and deliverables.
- Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams on complex development schemes.
- Using Junctions 10 and LinSig for modelling, interpreting outputs, and advising clients.
- Applying design guidance including MfS, DMRB, LTN1/20, and principles of Active Travel and Healthy Streets.
- Supporting meetings and negotiations with highway authorities.
- Producing proposals and managing project budgets.
- Coaching and mentoring junior staff.
- Contributing to business development and client relationship growth.
