Senior/Principal Town Planner

Location: Edinburgh, Scotland

Salary: £35k-£45k

Our client is a highly reputable planning consultancy seeking a Senior/Principal Town Planner to join their team in Edinburgh. The company is a small, established, and expanding consultancy that values its team. The role offers a hybrid working basis, with the successful candidate managing and leading a diverse range of projects.

Responsibilities include:

  1. Developing the company’s client base and reputation.
  2. Managing caseloads for various planning applications, with an emphasis on renewable energy projects.
  3. Working proactively on planning applications and appeals.
  4. Building relationships with clients.
  5. Having good knowledge of the Scottish planning system.
  6. Being a member of the RTPI with an accredited degree in Town Planning (candidates eligible for RTPI membership will also be considered).
  7. Having 5+ years of industry experience.

The company offers a competitive salary between £35k-£45k and excellent benefits!
