You will have opportunities to work with a wide range of clients, such as Energy and Water companies, Environment Agency, National Highways, Homes England, High Speed 2, Ministry of Defence, DLUHC, Network Rail, Transport for the North, Transport for London, West of England Combined Authority, GLA, LEPs, local authorities, and private developers. Our colleagues also lead international development projects for funding institutions and government bodies.

Your role:

  • Act as Planning Lead on projects across various markets and sectors.
  • Participate in bid preparation, tender submissions, and framework responses.
  • Lead multidisciplinary projects, managing project delivery and team support.
  • Support junior colleagues and team leaders.
  • Collaborate with environmental, engineering, and design colleagues across UK and international offices.
  • Engage with market and client leads to support business growth.

What you need to bring:

  • A relevant Planning degree; RTPI membership is desirable.
  • Self-motivated, enthusiastic, resilient, and able to work under pressure.
  • Excellent time management skills and ability to manage multiple assignments.
  • Understanding of TCPA, DCO, TWAO, or similar applications.
  • Experience with Environmental Impact Assessments.
  • Knowledge of Strategic Planning and Planning policy.
  • Ability to work effectively within multi-disciplinary teams and across various geographies.
  • Strong report writing and presentation skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to develop client relationships and support market growth.
