We are looking for a Senior / Principal Sustainability Consultant to lead our Net Zero team and be part of the Senior Management Team.

The Role

• Lead the Net Zero team, investing in each individual to help them fulfil their potential.
• Contribute to the day-to-day running of the company through the Senior Management Team.
• Provide clients with high-quality technical and strategic advice on sustainability services including Whole Life Carbon Assessments, Circular Economy Statements, ESG Assessments, Net Zero Roadmaps, and more.
• Work with design teams on innovative and high-profile developments.
• Prepare high-quality reports for clients.
• Manage Key Client Accounts, developing long-term relationships.
• Expand our client offering into new areas of sustainability.
• Contribute towards developing a robust pipeline.

Skills, Qualifications, and Experience

• A relevant degree in Sustainability; MSc in building/sustainability/materials is desirable.
• 3-5 years’ experience in the built environment.
• Experience advising on net zero buildings.
• Experience with Whole Life Cycle Carbon Assessments and OneClick LCA software.
• Knowledge of RICS WLC guidance and Circular Economy principles.
• Experience in low carbon materials and solutions to reduce embodied carbon.
• Experience managing projects, writing reports, and client relationships.

This is a full-time position based in Guildford, Surrey. Salary depends on experience and ability.
