    You will join our Sustainable Solutions department

    As our new Sustainable Solutions Senior/Principal Consultant you will be part of a growing UK-wide Sustainability Team who are looking to make a positive impact on the environment through our work. While the role will involve nationwide projects, we work very closely together and have a very supportive and fun atmosphere within the team. We are looking for an enthusiastic individual with a strong track record of delivering Sustainability Consultancy. This role is about challenging the status quo and guiding the way towards the UK’s net zero goals and leading project delivery taking a senior technical role in the team. We are looking for a motivated consultant to join us with immediate effect.

    You will join a team that drives sustainability best practice across our project portfolio, and includes delivering innovative sustainability strategies for projects against Net Zero Carbon, Circular Economy and broader sustainability drivers.

    Your key tasks and responsibilities will be:

    • Apply skills and provides technical guidance in Sustainability Consultancy e.g. in relation to emerging Net Zero Carbon, Circular Economy, Regenerative Design, Wellbeing, Climate Risk agendas and Strategic Guidance.
    • Development of bespoke sustainability frameworks and delivery plans for clients.
    • Communicate sustainability strategy and performance findings.
    • Undertake project ownership and leadership.
    • Hosting workshops and presentations
    • Preparing sustainability reports
    • Supporting the training, development and growth of junior team members

    • A relevant degree and/or experience within the Sustainable Building sector.
    • Comfortable in developing bespoke sustainability strategy and oversight for a range of clients / projects.
    • Experience of Life Cycle Assessments (LCA), BREEAM and GLA standards.
    • An understanding of circular economy principles and experience applying these to project.
    • Proven data analysis skills e.g. spreadsheet modelling performance system data.
    • Proven graphics and presentation skills.
    • In depth knowledge of sustainability legislation and emerging policy landscape.
    • To hold / working towards Chartership (CEng or CEnv) with CIBSE, IMechE, IEMA or equivalent.
    • Excellent communications skills across technical disciplines and wider public and community development area.
