Senior / Principal Surveyor

Position: Senior / Principal Surveyor

Location: Commutable from Driffield, Bridlington, Beverley, Hull, Grimsby, Scunthorpe, Doncaster, Selby, York, Leeds, Lincoln

Salary and Benefits: Negotiable salary dependent on experience. Good benefits package.

The Role: This is a great opportunity for an experienced Land/Engineering Surveyor to join our successful and well-established client. They are a consultancy delivering projects throughout the UK, providing innovative solutions across multiple disciplines and sectors.

You Must Have:

• Significant experience in land and engineering surveying
• A Bachelor's degree in Geomatics, Surveying Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related field
• Strong project management and team leadership skills
• Expertise in land, topographic, construction, and geodetic surveys
• Knowledge of local surveying laws, land registration schemes, and H&S standards
• Experience with 3D scanning, Total Station/Robotics, and Leica/Topcon GPS or Smart Rover

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage surveying projects from inception to completion
• Prepare and review technical reports, risk assessments, specifications, and drawings
• Ensure compliance with relevant legislation and standards
• Manage project budgets and timelines
• Provide expert advice to clients and stakeholders
• Develop and maintain strong client relationships
• Supervise and mentor junior surveyors and support staff
