We seek a Senior or Principal Environmental Planner/Strategic Environmental Assessment (SEA) Consultant. The position is flexible and can be based in any of our nationwide offices. This is an excellent opportunity for career progression within an ambitious team.
You will support the delivery of UK infrastructure and development programmes across water, transport, and planning sectors, conducting SEA on plans, programmes, and policies such as water resource management, drought management, drainage, wastewater management, regional transport strategies, and local development plans.
This role offers the chance to work in a multidisciplinary environment, providing access to a broad knowledge base with expert support. The scope can be tailored to your interests and ambitions.

ABOUT YOU
You hold a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Environmental Management, Assessment, Science, or Planning, accredited by CIWEM, IEMA, or RTPI.
You have experience in environmental assessment, including SEA, Sustainability Appraisal, environmental appraisals, and EIA/planning applications. Knowledge of UK infrastructure consenting regimes, experience working with utilities and local authorities, and consulting experience are advantageous.
Ideally, you understand town planning, sustainability, landscape, archaeology, ecology, contaminated land, and hydrology.
