Job summary

ENGINEERINGUK is seeking a Senior Principal Software Engineer Dev O to provide senior technical leadership across Dev Ops and security engineering in a large Product Engineering environment. You will identify systemic problems across a large Product Engineering organisation and translate them into scalable, reusable capabilities that improve efficiency and reduce duplication.

Qualifications

Significant experience providing senior technical leadership across a large software engineering environment.
Deep expertise in modern software engineering, cloud and distributed systems, reliability/SRE, and observability.
Strong DevSecOps experience including ASPM platforms integrated into the software delivery lifecycle.

Responsibilities

Identify systemic operational, reliability and security problems and design scalable solutions.
Define standards and guardrails for reliability, resilience and observability.
Lead the DevSecOps programme and ASPM adoption in the delivery lifecycle.
Apply Agentic Dev Operations and AI-enabled tooling to improve outcomes.
Shape cross-cutting technical strategy for Dev Operations and guide teams.
