The Senior / Principal Safety & Risk Engineer will be responsible for providing technical safety consultancy services, primarily within the Oil and Gas industry. The role involves conducting safety studies, risk assessments, and facilitating safety workshops.

Essential Skills & Experience

• Relevant degree (e.g., Chemical or Process Engineering); a second degree or Chartered Engineer status is advantageous.
• Minimum of 7 years’ proven experience in a safety consultancy role, ideally within Oil and Gas.
• Proficient in industry-standard consequence modelling and risk software such as PHAST, Safeti, FRED.
• Deep understanding of safety studies and risk management techniques like QRA, FERA, safety case development.
• Experience in facilitating safety workshops (e.g., HAZID, HAZOP, SIL, bowtie studies) and/or functional safety experience.
