Job Description:

Wood is recruiting for Senior / Principal Quality Assurance Engineers (contract) to join our team in Reading on a 12-month agency contract.

We have expertise in managing large, complex projects, a global presence, strong client relationships, and cutting-edge processes and technologies.

Responsibilities:

• Act as Project Quality Assurance Manager and implement the requirements of the Quality Management System on assigned projects.
• Provide advice and guidance on the application of the Quality Management System and Project Quality Plans to assigned Quality Engineers and project teams.
• Assist with the rollout and implementation of Continual Improvement initiatives.
• Provide guidance and manage Quality Assurance activities as required.
• Support the Manager of Quality Assurance in project quality activities.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Significant recent experience in a similar position.
• Experience in Pre-FEED/FEED/EPC/IPMT/PMC organizations in refinery or petrochemical sectors.
• In-depth knowledge of ISO 9001:2015 standards.
• Working knowledge of ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 standards is desirable.
• Good understanding of standards such as PED, ATEX, ASME, ANSI, and EU standards is desirable.
• Offshore and onshore experience is desirable.
• Experience with Carbon Capture and Hydrogen processes is desirable.
• Qualification in planning, conducting, and reporting internal and external audits from a recognized external body is preferable.
• Good team player with excellent communication, influencing, verbal, and written skills.
• Self-motivated, proactive, with good project management skills and commercial awareness.
