Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure compliance with client standards and regulatory requirements for each project.
  • Lead and coordinate process safety studies, ensuring that process safety is a critical aspect of the design.
  • Collaborate with other engineering disciplines (civil, mechanical, EICA, environmental) to create integrated and complete designs.
  • Support other disciplines in the development of design specifications and provide input on process and process safety elements.
  • Foster teamwork, trust, and synergy across the project team, serving as the main interface between disciplines.
  • Provide technical support to the delivery, commissioning, and management teams, identifying the most effective solutions to challenges.
  • Offer feedback to the Regional Discipline Lead and Design Manager on project progress and performance.
  • Optimize design efficiency, considering costs related to design time, materials, and installation, while minimizing impacts on other disciplines.
  • Assist the Design Manager in managing deliverables at various design stages.
  • Mentor and support graduate engineers during their development program.

  • Proven experience in developing process calculations, such as mass balance, energy balance, and hydraulic calculations.
  • Ability to think critically and solve problems under pressure.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to meet project deadlines and milestones.
  • Excellent communication skills, both within the project team and externally.
  • Ability to rationalize and optimize designs for cost-effectiveness.
  • Strong team-working skills and the ability to collaborate effectively across various disciplines.
