Job summary

Medtronic plc in London is seeking a Senior Principal Product Manager for Touch Surgery Aide to shape the digital and edge-compute platform powering the Touch Surgery ecosystem. You will define strategy, identify key customer and business problems, and drive trade-offs across multiple products.

You will collaborate with engineering, design, clinicians and specialists, travel occasionally to US/Europe sites, and work two days per week in the London office to ensure delivery in a regulated,

Qualifications

• Significant product-management experience from discovery through launch and lifecycle.
• Experience with digital platforms, ecosystems or complex products such as edge/cloud systems.
• Strong platform judgement and ability to trade off shared platform vs applications.
• Strong customer-discovery and analytical skills using qualitative and quantitative evidence.
• Technical fluency to discuss software, hardware, video, cloud and data flows with engineers.
• Ability to influence senior stakeholders in ambiguous environments without direct authority.

Responsibilities

• Set a multi-year product vision for Aide as the intraoperative digital foundation.
• Define platform strategy across edge compute, video, data movement and AI workloads.
• Understand surgeons and hospital workflows to align portfolio priorities.
• Lead discovery with engineering, design, clinical, and field partners.
• Identify reusable platform services and balance them with application needs.
• Coordinate with product marketing, commercial, service teams on launches.
• Own direction for connectivity, device-to-cloud workflows, telemetry and deployment.
• Translate strategy into measurable outcomes and backlog items with engineering.
• Guide cross-functional teams to deliver in a regulated healthcare environment.
