A consultancy firm in England is looking for a Senior or Principal Planning Consultant to manage a caseload of projects. The role involves client contact, preparing planning statements, and advising on planning strategy. Candidates should have a post-graduate degree in a relevant subject, RTPI membership, and at least 5 years of relevant experience. Berrys, at four offices across the Midlands, offers planning, architecture, building surveying, valuation and business consultancy to help clients make the most of their assets. You will be part of a multi-disciplinary team of planners, surveyors, archaeologists, engineers and architects based in the Shrewsbury office, with autonomy and opportunities to expand your skills and build connections across the team.
Our work ranges from applications and appeals to site promotions, including projects from sustainable urban extensions and solar farms to historic barn conversions. You will have the opportunity to manage your own caseload of projects, lead and support multi-disciplinary projects, and develop specialist skills in areas of interest.

The role includes outdoor site visits and on-site advice, so you will need a driving licence and access to a vehicle.
Hours: 37.5 hours per week, to be worked flexible Monday-Friday.
