WSP has an opportunity for an experienced Senior, Principal, or Associate Public Health Engineer in our Cambridge Office. You will work on some of the most exciting and prestigious projects worldwide. Although a multi-disciplinary consultancy, the WSP MEP team is a close-knit group delivering some of the largest and most complex buildings in the UK and Europe.

A little more about your role

• As an experienced public health engineer at Senior, Principal, or Associate level, you will play a key role in delivering prestigious projects.
• The Cambridge office is involved in mission-critical facilities in aviation, healthcare, and defense sectors.
• You will be a client-facing representative of WSP and take a lead role in delivering innovative and sustainable public health engineering solutions.
• Incorporate philosophies of sustainability, net zero carbon, digital design, modern methods of construction, and smart systems into your work.

Your Team

• Our building services team includes engineers across Mechanical, Electrical, and Public Health specialisms.
• You will work on major projects across public and private sectors.
• You can utilize support from graduate and assistant engineers, as well as BIM and Sustainability specialists.

What we will be looking for you to demonstrate

• Experience in UK public health building services design, including relevant standards and regulations at Senior, Principal, or Associate level.
• Ability to work collaboratively and manage junior engineers towards project delivery.
• Technical judgment and resourcefulness in feasibility studies, design, and construction support phases.
• Ability to represent WSP to clients and understand their needs.
• Capability to manage technical, cost, and programme aspects of projects.
