Job Title: Nuclear Safety Consultant - Multiple Levels

iO Associates is seeking experienced Nuclear Safety Consultants from Senior to Principal level for exciting projects across civil nuclear, defence, and maritime sectors. Whether your expertise is in safety case development, submarine systems, or regulatory compliance, we want to hear from you.

Responsibilities:

• Lead or contribute to the development of safety cases.
• Provide expert advice on nuclear safety, infrastructure, and platform systems.
• Participate in HAZID/HAZOP studies and risk assessments.
• Review technical documentation and support design assurance.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and engage with stakeholders.
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to technical leadership.

Requirements:

• Experience in nuclear safety case development.
• Hazard identification and risk assessment (HAZID/HAZOP).
• Experience with submarine, naval, or civil industry projects.
