Job Description:

Wood is currently accepting applications for upcoming projects. We are seeking expressions of interest from Senior, Principal, and Lead Electrical Designers on a hybrid contract basis.

The ideal candidates will be technically strong with experience in the Oil and Gas, Petrochemical, Refining, LNG, or Power Generation industries. Previous experience in similar roles is highly beneficial.

Work Scope:

• Self-starter with the ability to produce electrical deliverables with minimal input or guidance.
• Good understanding of applicable international codes and standards and their application.
• High competency with Micro-station 2D; experience with SmartPlant S3D or SPEL is advantageous but not essential.
• Experience delivering substation design, cable routing, area classification layouts, cable and MTO schedules, standard installation details, lighting and earthing philosophies and layouts.
• Strong understanding of plant design and equipment layout, with the ability to coordinate with other discipline design groups to develop integrated plant designs.
