Job summary
QinetiQ Limited is seeking Senior and Principal Laser & Optical Engineers in Farnborough to lead the design, integration, and delivery of advanced laser and optical systems across the full lifecycle. You will drive maturity from development to production and shape roadmaps for future capability.
You will mentor engineers, build strong customer relationships, and champion technical excellence on nationally important programmes within the UK defence sector. SC clearance eligibility is required.
Qualifications
- Experience in developing complex laser and optical systems across the full product lifecycle.
- Leadership experience in multidisciplinary teams and programmes.
- Eligibility for SC clearance is required or able to obtain it.
Responsibilities
- Lead the design, integration and delivery of complex laser and optical systems.
- Drive product maturity from development through manufacture and qualification.
- Shape technology and product roadmaps to grow capability.
