Senior/Principal Hydrogeologist (Flexible across UK), Manchester

We are seeking a Senior or Principal Hydrogeologist to join our water resources team, with flexibility across the UK including Manchester. The role involves leading groundwater projects, developing client relationships, and contributing to our reputation for technical excellence.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead groundwater projects and bids, ensuring high standards of performance and project development.
  • Mentor and support junior staff within a collaborative team environment.
  • Work on hydrogeological assessments and broader water management projects such as water supply, strategic planning, and environmental assessments.

Requirements:

  • Degree in science, engineering, or mathematics, with postgraduate qualification in hydrogeology or related field; chartered status preferred.
  • Substantial experience in UK and/or international groundwater projects, including water resources hydrogeology and hydrology.
  • Experience leading project lifecycle stages from problem definition to recommendations.
  • Excellent numerical, analytical, report-writing, and communication skills, with a valid UK driving license.
