They aim to enhance their Geo-Environmental capabilities by hiring a motivated and independent engineer who can utilize both technical and interpersonal skills.
Your new role
As a Senior or Principal Geo-Environmental Engineer, your responsibilities will include:
- Designing and managing geo-environmental and geotechnical ground investigation projects for clients and internal teams.
- Providing technical support throughout project stages and managing project costs.
- Overseeing ground investigations.
- Contract administration.
- Soil and rock logging according to geotechnical standards, including laboratory scheduling.
- Conducting geotechnical analysis and design.
What you'll need to succeed
- BEng or BSc in Civil, Geology, Geotechnical Engineering, or related fields.
- A higher degree in Engineering Geology, Geotechnics, or Environmental Science is desirable.
- Registered with a professional body and either Chartered or close to Chartered status (Geol Soc/CIWEM/ICE).
- Approximately 7-10 years of relevant experience.
- Strong understanding of geology, ground investigation, engineering geology, and geotechnical and geo-environmental engineering.
