Job description

We seek a highly motivated Senior or Principal Geo-environmental Consultant to join our Ground Assessment team in Bristol. This is an excellent opportunity for career progression within an ambitious team, offering flexibility to balance home and office work for a healthy work-life balance.

You will support the delivery of UK infrastructure programmes, primarily in the water sector, collaborating with multidisciplinary engineering and design teams, and advising contractors. The key focus will be providing technical management and specialist input on projects related to material characterisation and contaminated site management. The role may also involve team management, project management, client relationship management, business development, and strategic support based on your experience and interests.

About You

You will be degree-qualified in Geology, Hydrogeology, or a relevant subject, and be a chartered member of a professional institution such as the Geological Society. Additional certifications like SiLC, SQP, or CL:AIRE DOW COP QP are advantageous.

You are an excellent communicator with proven ability to build relationships with clients, partners, and stakeholders, and to network professionally. Solid experience in land quality evaluation and contaminated site management within a consulting environment is essential.
