Overview

Stantec, Brighton, England, United Kingdom. We are seeking expressions of interest from Senior level Geo Environmental Consultants as we move into AMP 8 and grow across the UK & Ireland. We are looking for Senior or Principal Geo-environmental Consultants to join our Ground Assessment team in Bristol or Cardiff. We offer flexibility in balancing home and office work to maintain an excellent work-life blend and effective teamwork.

Stantec’s Environmental Services Team works closely with our clients to develop innovative, sustainable and efficient solutions. We are building a growing, collaborative team of professionals to meet industry-wide efficiency and environmental challenges.

Responsibilities
  • Provide technical management and specialist input to a broad range of projects through all stages of the project lifecycle related to the characterisation of materials and contaminated site management.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering and design teams and provide support and advice to contractors.
  • Potentially contribute to team management, project management, client relationship management, business development and strategic support, depending on interests and experience.
Qualifications and Skills
  • Degree-qualified in Geology, Hydrogeology, or any other relevant subject.
  • Chartered member of a relevant professional institution (e.g., Geological Society). Additional certifications such as SiLC, SQP or CL:AIRE QP are viewed favourably.
  • Excellent communication skills with proven ability to forge new working relationships with clients, joint venture partners, and stakeholders, and to network with peers.
  • Solid experience in land quality evaluation and contaminated site management within a consulting environment.
