Job description

Our client is on a mission to revolutionize the space economy by enabling rapid and reliable access to space. They have built launch systems and a robust SaaS platform used by internal teams and external customers for engineering, prototyping, and hardware development. This platform supports designers, engineers, assemblers, and makers in delivering high-quality hardware.

We are seeking a Senior Full Stack Engineer to:

• Build event-driven backend services
• Design and deploy mission-critical frontend components using React
• Collaborate with other developers to ensure correct implementation of designs
• Write quality code with comprehensive unit and integration tests
• Develop new features using TypeScript, PostgreSQL, React, and other technologies with an emphasis on testing
• Mentor junior engineers to support the company's long-term health

Ideal candidates will have:

• A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience
• 10+ years of experience in startup and enterprise software development at scale
• Experience with UI development, containerization, and backend services
• Proficiency in modern technologies such as GraphQL, TypeScript, PostgreSQL, Next.js, and React
• Strong communication skills, curiosity, leadership desire, and mentoring ability

This role is hybrid, requiring onsite presence a few days per week. Candidates must qualify to work in an ITAR environment (US or Green Card holders). All team members participate in a reasonable on-call rotation to support the SaaS platform.
