Job summary

Xodus Group is seeking Senior and Principal Engineers for the Advanced Analysis Team in the Subsea and Marine Division. The role focuses on finite element analysis using Abaqus and Python to support offshore pipeline and interconnector projects, with mentoring responsibilities for junior engineers.

Based in the UK, roles are in Aberdeen or London, offering flexible work patterns and a collaborative, international environment that values innovation and excellence.

Qualifications

• Must hold MEng or PhD in Civil, Mechanical or Aeronautical Engineering or Mathematics.
• Significant finite element analysis experience and coding skills.
• Industry experience in offshore pipeline, cable and interconnectors.
• Proficient in Abaqus and Python for analysis and post-processing.
• Willing to mentor junior engineers and develop others.

Responsibilities

• Perform advanced finite element analysis for offshore pipelines and interconnectors.
• Utilise Abaqus for simulations and Python for pre/post-processing and data work.
• Mentor less experienced engineers and support professional development.
• Collaborate with global teams to deliver engineering solutions.
