HYBRID WORKING OPPORTUNITY FOR AN EXPERIENCED ENVIRONMENTAL CONSULTANT WITH A STRONG ENVIRONMENTAL PLANNING BACKGROUND REQUIRED WITH EXPERIENCE IN THE WASTE MANAGEMENT & RECYCLING OR MINERALS EXTRACTION & QUARRY SECTOR

TITLE: Senior or Principal Environmental Planning Consultant

SALARY: Negotiable DOE PLUS CAR

LOCATION: Commutable to East Side of Birmingham, with 2 days a week from home

ROLE: Senior or Principal Environmental Planning Consultant - CIWM

Responsibilities

• You will deliver technical support for the environmental monitoring to open and closed landfill, waste, quarry and minerals extraction sites
• Maintain quality and best working practice
• Preparation of reports
• Responsibility for Project Performance
• You will support junior staff

Qualifications

• EXPERIENCE: Senior or Principal Environmental Planning Consultant - CIWM
• You must have extensive experience in environmental planning consultancy (roughly 5+ years for Senior Role, 8+ for Principal in the waste management, quarrying or minerals extraction / mining
• You will have a Degree or Masters in a relevant subject to the role such as Environmental Management, Environmental Science etc.
• Ideally you will be a member of the CIWM / Chartered Institute of Waste Management
• You will have a UK driving Licence
