  • Oversee and manage factual reporting within the contracts department.
  • Ensure accurate, consistent, and timely reports.
  • Lead preparation of factual reports across regional offices.
  • Ensure compliance with policies and standards.
  • Provide guidance to engineers and project managers.
  • Validate data for accuracy and completeness.
  • Review and verify reports.
  • Communicate findings to stakeholders.
  • Ensure transparency in the reporting process.

Overview

Senior / Principal Engineer (Ground investigations) – Permanent role with hybrid working. 4 locations available: County Durham, Greater Manchester, Berkshire or Lanarkshire (Scotland).

  • Ensure compliance with all relevant policies, standards and specifications
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to engineers and project managers
  • Review and validate data for accuracy and completeness
  • Report reviewing and verification
  • Communicate report findings to stakeholders
  • Ensure transparency in the reporting process to generate auditable trail
Requirements
  • Relevant degree i.e. Geology / Geotechnical Engineering
  • Strong technical ground investigation background
  • Chartered status (or working towards)
