Senior/Principal Engineer (Civil Structures), Edinburgh

We are seeking a talented and motivated Senior or Principal Engineer to join our team in Edinburgh. The role offers flexible working with a minimum of three days in the office per week.

Responsibilities include:
  • Leading design projects for bridges and civil structures, coordinating with other disciplines, and providing technical guidance.
  • Managing project delivery from conception to completion, including client communication, design calculations, drawings, and reports.
  • Mentoring colleagues and supporting continuous improvement in technical policies and processes.
Qualifications:
  • A Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
  • At least 5 years of relevant experience in structures design, including bridges and civil structures.
  • Experience with Eurocodes and DMRB.
  • Proficiency in structural design software such as STRAP, Autodesk Bridge Design, or LUSAS.
  • Chartered membership with ICE or IStructE, or working towards it.
  • A full UK driving license.
