Job Description:

This versatile electronics team is searching for a principal engineer to lead the team by providing management, technical, and business expertise. They develop technologies for multinational companies across various markets including medical, fluidics, and advanced consumer products. This role is ideal for a senior engineer ready to advance or someone with prior similar experience.

You will lead projects ranging from small technology demonstrations to full product launches, including transfer into manufacturing. You will demonstrate technical leadership and, over time, become responsible for entire product architectures. Business acumen and professional presentation skills are essential, as you will communicate directly with customers and clients.

Requirements:

• Extensive skills in designing, prototyping, testing electronic systems, and writing embedded C/C++ code.
• A hands-on approach to technical work, including soldering and diagnosing hardware faults with laboratory equipment.
• Leadership and project management skills. Some commercial experience is preferred.
• Top academic engineering qualifications, 1st or 2:1 from a leading university in a relevant subject.
