Job description

We are looking for Senior & Principal Electrical Engineers with a passion for innovation and problem-solving.

Your role will involve leading complex design processes in the water and wastewater industry, collaborating with multi-disciplinary teams, and ensuring compliance with stringent design codes.

As a key team member, you will conduct root cause analysis investigations, provide technical input into project briefs, and oversee the development of new technologies for research projects. Additionally, you will play a vital role in establishing a 'Centre of Excellence' for engineering and nurturing a sustainable engineering structure from graduates to industry experts.

What you should bring to the role

• Degree level or equivalent with professional chartered status likely in your Engineering Discipline or working towards it.
• Competence in electrical engineering design, combining technical skills with creativity and innovation to define problems, identify constraints, and develop solutions.
• Understanding of technology to improve solutions and enhance safety.
• Ability to promptly address complex inaccuracies or discrepancies in documentation and specifications.
• Extensive experience in electrical engineering, including High Voltage and Low Voltage Systems, with relevant water industry experience.
• Understanding of the regulatory environment to ensure compliance with engineering standards.

Additional Details

Base location: Hybrid – Hampton Coal Wharf. You will be required to work in the office and on-site 2-3 days a week, depending on business needs.

Working hours: 36 hours per week, Monday to Friday.

Having a driver's license and access to a vehicle is preferred for this role.
