Senior/Principal Electrical Engineer – Building Services Consultancy
Location: Birmingham (Hybrid Working Available)
Salary: 55,000 – 65,000 + Benefits

The Opportunity:
This is a fantastic opportunity for a Senior Electrical Engineer to join a collaborative, forward–thinking team that puts technical excellence and sustainability at the heart of what they do. You'll take the lead on electrical design from concept to delivery, influencing complex, tailor–made projects across the UK.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage bespoke electrical design projects across multiple sectors.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver integrated MEP solutions.
  • Provide technical input across lighting, power distribution, containment, and associated systems.
  • Carry out site surveys, assessments, and feasibility studies.
  • Mentor junior engineers and support knowledge sharing within the team.
  • Attend client meetings and contribute to bids and proposals.

What We're Looking For:

  • Degree in Electrical or Building Services Engineering.
  • Chartered Engineer or working toward chartership (CEng/MICE/MIET).
  • Skilled in AutoCAD, Revit, and electrical design software.
  • Knowledge of UK building regulations and electrical standards.
  • Confident communicator and enthusiastic problem–solver.
  • Passion for delivering high–quality, sustainable engineering solutions.
