Data Engineer - Southampton based Start-Up

Hybrid working in Southampton

Oliver Bernard has partnered with a Southampton-based Start-Up company that is looking to expand its Data function. You will join a small engineering team aiming to make a significant impact within the Telecoms industry.

The key focus for this role is building, scaling, and maintaining their AWS & GCP data infrastructure, with proficiency in modern Data Warehousing and scalable ETL processes.

The ideal candidate will be comfortable working in a start-up environment, collaborating with both technical and non-technical stakeholders, where strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential.

Key skills and requirements:

1. Demonstrated experience as a Data Engineer scaling data-heavy platforms
2. Strong understanding of ETL pipelines and Data Architectures
3. Experience with modern Data Warehousing tools
4. AWS/GCP experience
5. Experience working in high-growth start-up or scale-up environments (essential)
