The Chemical and Response Training team is expanding due to strong growth. The role involves leading private sector incident response projects, supporting organizations in chemical and wider industry sectors, and delivering high-quality training globally on incident management. Experience in emergency services, military, or business continuity is desirable, especially in delivering training within crisis management contexts.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Support capability development for private sector clients both within the UK and internationally.
  2. Lead and support consultancy projects with internal and external teams.
  3. Develop and maintain relationships with clients and partners.
  4. Contribute to strategic growth plans.
  5. Utilize and expand your professional network to identify market needs and develop relevant courses.

Essential Competencies and Experience

  1. Experience in incident response and management.
  2. Proven ability to manage incidents and share post-incident insights.
  3. Strong organizational and relationship management skills.
  4. Experience in training and mentoring teams.
  5. Proven track record in creating and delivering training programs.
  6. Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
  7. Excellent communication skills, capable of conveying complex scientific information.

Desirable

  1. Experience with diverse clients and a strong commercial understanding.
  2. Background with emergency services or responder training.
  3. Teaching qualification such as Award in Education and Teaching.
  4. Knowledge of chemical or hazmat environments.
