Job summary

Matchtech is seeking a Senior/Principal Civil Engineer for a contract role across multiple UK locations in the water sector. You will lead the delivery of civil projects, provide technical oversight, and collaborate with clients and contractors.

This position requires a proven track record in leading projects from design through delivery, strong communication, and awareness of IR35. An engineering degree or equivalent qualification is required.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in civil engineering within the water sector.
• Strong knowledge of civil design principles and relevant software.
• Proven track record in leading engineering projects from inception to completion.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Understanding of IR35 regulations and working within its framework.
• Relevant engineering degree or equivalent qualification.
