We are looking for talented and driven Senior / Principal Infrastructure Engineer to join our client's award-winning Infrastructure team in their Solent Office. The ideal candidate should have leadership experience, be proficient in steering projects and teams, and possess hands-on technical design and documentation skills.

What you need to succeed

• BEng/MEng in Civil Engineering or related field plus 5+ years of relevant experience; ideally Chartered or Incorporated with a professional body such as ICE
• Ability to lead highway, drainage, or general infrastructure schemes
• Experience leading major projects independently, managing workload and junior team members
• Proficiency in preparing drawings and calculations in accordance with relevant standards
• Experience obtaining watercourse consent and technical approvals (desirable)
• Knowledge of best practices and standards such as Manual for Streets, DMRB, CIRIA SuDS Manual, Sewerage Sector Guidance
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civils3D or similar, and drainage modelling software like MicroDrainage (desirable)
• Experience in contract management, financials, and client engagement
• Private sector development background preferred
• Strong organizational and communication skills with a collaborative approach
• Full driving license and access to a vehicle
