Job summary

Wolviston Management Services Ltd, on behalf of Whessoe Engineering Limited, is seeking an experienced Project Planner to join its Darlington team. You will develop and maintain integrated project schedules using Primavera P6, providing clear visibility of progress, programme risks and critical activities.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Project Planner in engineering/construction environments.
• Advanced working knowledge of Primavera P6.
• Experience developing schedules across full project lifecycle.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain and update detailed project schedules using Primavera P6.
• Establish project baselines and monitor performance against milestones.
• Coordinate with engineering, procurement, fabrication and construction teams to produce realistic programmes.
• Monitor project progress and report on schedule status, critical paths and deliverables.
• Identify delays, risks and opportunities, recommending mitigation or recovery plans.
• Produce weekly and monthly planning reports for project teams and senior management.
• Support resource planning, forecasting, programme optimisation, earned value analysis and project performance measurement.
