We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Primary Care Nurse to join our Primary Care team at HMP Huntercombe, a category C men's prison, located near Nuffield in Oxfordshire. In this role you will have the opportunity to provide the highest standards of healthcare to our patients, without having to compromise on efficiency and quality.
Hours: Weekdays: 07:45 - 20:00, Weekends: 07:30 - 16:30. There is an expectation to work alternate weekends.

The ideal candidate will be a Registered NMC nurse (Adult) with experience of line management and leading a team. You will have an understanding of the complexities of multi-disciplinary and multi-agency working, excellent communication skills, proactive problem solving skills, and the ability to work autonomously, prioritise and plan.
Although not essential, ideal applicants would have experience in a hospital, community or prison environment. Secure environments are one of the most challenging, yet rewarding places for healthcare professionals to work.
