Job Description:

We have partnered with a well-respected Commercial and Specialty insurance carrier to support the growth of their London Market Pricing team. Through their high-performing syndicate at Lloyd's, they work to insure businesses around the world for a variety of large-scale and complex risks, including cyber threats, A&H, marine, property, energy, liabilities, as well as treaty reinsurance.

They are seeking an experienced Qualified Actuary with a commercially-driven mindset and proven management experience to join as a Senior Pricing Manager. The role involves leading a team of 10+ actuaries and analysts in the London Market. The Pricing team is highly underwriter-driven, and responsibilities include BAU pricing, overseeing project work, and acting as an operational/strategic leader and mentor to junior staff.

Role Requirements:

• Qualified Pricing Actuary, through the IFoA, or equivalent.
• 8+ years of experience in pricing.
• Experience in London Market Pricing is preferred but open to other Specialty/Commercial Lines or Reinsurance backgrounds.
• Technical proficiency with programming languages, actuarial software and tools (R, Python, Emblem, etc.), and data visualization tools (Tableau, PowerBI).
• Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience leading and managing cross-functional projects.
• Experience managing and mentoring teams of actuaries and analysts.
