Job summary

The Actuary in London is seeking an analytically minded actuary to shape pricing strategy across a diverse Lloyd's insurer portfolio. You will develop pricing tools, deliver analyses for large and complex risks, and translate portfolio insights into commercial decisions.

You will work closely with senior actuarial and underwriting stakeholders, contribute to management reporting, data visualisation, and the ongoing evolution of actuarial capabilities. Transformation HX experience is a plus.

Qualifications

This role will assist with the transformation project in HX.

We're looking for an analytically minded actuary who is progressing through the actuarial exams or has recently qualified. You should be comfortable working independently, solving complex problems, and communicating technical concepts to a range of audiences. Strong Python and Excel skills are essential, while experience with Power BI, SQL, VBA, or modern pricing platforms would be a distinct advantage.
