Job summary

Animal Friends Pet Insurance Ltd is seeking a Senior Pricing Analyst to join our expanding Pricing Team. You will analyze and refine pricing strategies and commercial decisions, supporting end-to-end pricing with major stakeholders in Street Pricing and Technical Pricing.

The role offers flexible location options: fully remote in the UK, hybrid, or based in our Amesbury office. Candidates should have GI/ PMI pricing experience, strong SQL/R/Python skills, and familiarity with Emblem or Radar.

Qualifications

Degree educated with a strong numerical content, preferably 2:1 or above.
Background in GI or PMI with experience of pricing techniques.
Experience with pricing tools such as Emblem or Radar would be beneficial.
Advanced capability with at least one statistical programming language such as R or Python.
Expert capability handling structured data and querying/manipulating via SQL.
Ability to build a GLM and interpret model outputs for insurance applications.
Strong communication skills; able to convey complex matters simply.

Responsibilities

Analyze and improve pricing strategies and commercial decisions, taking a hands-on role.
Engage with major stakeholders for end-to-end pricing considerations.
Work within Street Pricing and Technical Pricing areas to deliver pricing enhancements.
