Job Title: Senior Pricing Analyst - Modelling

This is a remote working opportunity.

Role Overview

Markerstudy Group is seeking a Senior Pricing Analyst (Modelling) to join its growing and established team.

You will leverage your technical expertise and in-depth knowledge of the insurance industry, along with market-leading tools, to develop creative and actionable pricing solutions. Your work will aim to help Atlanta meet its strategic and annual goals, while also influencing strategy through regular identification of opportunities shared with Pricing Managers, the Head of Pricing, and the Executive Committee. The role involves coaching team members and championing modeling best practices across the department.

As a Senior Pricing Analyst - Modelling, your key responsibilities include:

• Providing technical leadership on the WTW toolkit (notably Emblem and Radar) to develop effective solutions that meet business needs and add value
• Offering thought leadership on modeling concepts
• Leading the development of efficient solutions that deliver business requirements and value
• Ensuring quality assurance processes are followed and managing risk according to policies
• Researching, developing, and promoting best practice methods and standards within the department
• Planning, designing, and leading the development of Atlanta's pricing capabilities
• Maintaining extensive knowledge of statistical techniques through ongoing research to keep Atlanta at the forefront of analysis and modeling
• Assisting Pricing Managers with tactical and strategic decision-making
• Deputising for Pricing Managers and the Head of Pricing as needed

Key Skills and Experience:

• Experience in general insurance pricing
• Knowledge of predictive modeling techniques such as Logistic Regression, GBMs, Elastic Net GLMs, GAMs, Decision Trees, Random Forests, Neural Nets, and Clustering
• Proficiency in statistical and data science programming languages (e.g., R, Python, PySpark, SAS, SQL)
• A quantitative degree (Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering, Physics, Computer Science, Actuarial Science)
• Proven experience with WTW toolkit (Emblem and Radar)
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
