We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Pricing Analyst to join the Retail Pricing Team at AXA UK. You will lead New Business and Renewals projects across Direct or Intermediary channels to drive benefits from Price Optimization, considering business requirements. This fast-paced environment involves adapting to changes in the competitive landscape, data availability, and modeling methods to maintain and enhance AXA’s position in the Motor & Home Insurance markets. Your contributions will be quickly measurable, and you will be accountable for your proposals.

At AXA, we promote flexible working arrangements to balance productivity and personal life, including options for remote work, part-time, or condensed hours. You will work at least 40% of your week away from home, visiting offices, clients, or attending industry events.

Responsibilities:
  • End-to-end delivery of Price Optimizations, including performance monitoring.
  • Design, maintenance, and improvement of optimization structures.
  • Customer impact analysis and scenario modeling.
  • Enhancing customer lifetime value outcomes.
  • Conducting competitor and market activity analysis.
  • Supporting new deals, offers, and product testing.
  • Fine-tuning trading performance.
  • Representing pricing in trading committees and supporting stakeholders with P&L targets.
  • Peer review, coaching, and mentoring junior colleagues.
  • Data reconciliation and documentation.

Requirements:

  • Ability to prioritize workload and manage small projects.
  • Data Science skills, including machine learning with R and Python, are advantageous.
  • Experience with pricing software like Emblem & Radar is desirable.
  • Commercial awareness and understanding of trading impacts.
  • Proficiency with SAS or SQL.
