A leading global (re)insurer seeks a Pricing Analyst for their High Net Worth Personal Lines Pricing team. This key role focuses on delivering pricing solutions for motor and household products in both UK and European markets. The ideal candidate will have over 4 years of personal lines pricing experience and strong commercial acumen, working collaboratively with underwriting and analytics teams to drive impactful commercial decisions.

Qualifications

  • 4+ years’ experience in personal lines pricing.
  • Proficiency in Radar, SAS, SQL; Python and Emblem knowledge desirable.
  • Experience in the UK insurance market preferred.

Job description

I’m working with a global (re)insurer who are seeking aPricing Analyst to join their High Net Worth (HNW) Personal Lines Pricing team. The role sits within a well-established pricing function and will be focused on Motor and Household products across both the UK and European markets.
This is a commercially driven role with strong underwriter interaction, and would suit someone with 4+ years’ personal lines pricing experience looking to step up or continue growing within a high-performing and collaborative team.


Responsibilities:

  • Deliver end-to-end pricing solutions across HNW motor and household products.
  • Support market pricing activity as well as regular portfolio performance reviews.
  • Work closely with underwriting and wider pricing teams to drive commercial decisions.
  • Assist in the development, testing, and improvement of pricing models and rating structures.
  • Contribute to a growing team and work alongside global analytics and actuarial functions.

Requirements:
  • 4+ years’ experience in personal lines pricing (motor, home, travel, etc.).
  • Proficiency in Radar, SAS, SQL; Python and Emblem experience is desirable.
  • Strong commercial acumen with a track record of stakeholder engagement.
  • Ideally studying towards actuarial exams (not essential).
  • Experience within the UK insurance market is strongly preferred.
