Job Description:

Do you have a unique aptitude to connect data, science, and strategy into actionable HR solutions? Do you have a consultative mindset and the know-how to work across global teams in a customer-centric environment? Do you have a “can-do” attitude and natural presales curiosity to address problems and collaborate in a positive and energetic way? If yes, and you also have strong expertise in psychometric concepts and their practical application, then you could bring this expertise to the role of Senior Presales Solution Architect. This role is key in shaping talent solutions for customers by combining scientific knowledge with practical technology application. You will act as a strategic advisor to global HR leaders, helping them navigate challenges in talent acquisition, development, and workforce planning.

What you will be doing:

  1. Client Discovery & Strategic Insight
  2. Drive discovery sessions to understand customer HR challenges, workforce goals, and human capital strategies—regionally and globally.
  3. Analyze HR processes, systems, data architecture, and stakeholder goals to discover value-based differentiation.
  4. Collaborate with internal teams (Commercial, Deployment, Professional Services) to ensure alignment before and after discovery.

Solution Design & Platform Mapping

  1. Translate customer needs into tailored solutions using SHL’s product suite, platforms, and services.
  2. Coordinate with product and technical teams for roadmap alignment and advanced solution requirements.
  3. Assess customization needs and evaluate feasibility within platform capabilities.
  4. Design workarounds to balance innovation with scalability and sustainability.
  5. Create mockups, solution flows, or live demos aligned with talent requirements.
  6. Present solution architecture focusing on integration, change management, and deployment robustness.

Commercial Structuring & Value Articulation

  1. Support pricing configurations and co-develop proposals with sales teams, including implementation and customization.
  2. Demonstrate value propositions and ROI based on talent metrics, operational efficiency, and cost savings.

What we are looking for:

  • Master’s in Industrial Organizational Psychology
  • Extensive presales, solution consulting, or assessment design experience in HR tech or psychometrics
  • Strong expertise in psychometric principles and application
  • Influencing, facilitation, and storytelling communication skills
  • Deep knowledge of the talent lifecycle from acquisition to succession planning
