Job summary

Atos is seeking a Presales DevOps / DevSecOps Platform Architect to lead enterprise platform engineering design across solution, cloud and security teams in the UK. The role is remote-first with occasional travel and requires security clearance for UK public sector work.

You will define end-to-end CI/CD pipelines, embed governance and compliance, and contribute to technical bids and customer workshops while shaping Atos’ Platform Engineering offerings.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in DevOps/Platform Eng/Solution Architecture roles
• Experience designing enterprise CI/CD platforms using Azure DevOps, GitHub Enterprise, GitLab, Jenkins, Argo CD
• Proven experience architecting secure DevSecOps pipelines and automated compliance
• Deep knowledge of Infrastructure as Code and platform automation
• Experience with observability tools like Datadog, Dynatrace, Grafana, Prometheus, Splunk, Elastic

Responsibilities

• Lead the architecture of enterprise DevOps, DevSecOps, and Platform Engineering solutions.
• Design engineering platforms supporting cloud-native and hybrid delivery models.
• Define end-to-end CI/CD pipelines covering build, testing, security, deployment, observability.
• Embed security, governance, and compliance controls throughout the SDLC.
• Design Internal Developer Platforms to improve standardisation, automation, and productivity.
• Define Infrastructure as Code strategies using Terraform, Bicep, Ansible, Pulumi, or equivalents.
• Architect container platforms using Kubernetes, OpenShift, AKS, EKS, GKE, etc.
• Lead customer workshops and contribute to bids, proposals, cost models, and exec presentations.
• Support the development of Atos DevOps, Platform Engineering, and Cloud-Native offerings and accelerators.
