Job summary

JOTA Group is seeking an experienced Quality Control Inspector to join our manufacturing team in the UK. You will perform first-off, in-process, and final inspections on machined components, checking against drawings and customer specs to ensure high-quality outcomes.

Key duties include creating FAIRs and ISIRs, maintaining calibration records, and supporting continuous improvement with production and engineering teams.

Qualifications

• Experience inspecting high precision, complex machined components.
• Strong understanding of engineering drawings, GD&T, and tight tolerances.
• Experience using precision measurement equipment (micrometers, calipers, bore gauges, height gauges, CMM).
• Experience creating FAIRs and ISIRs and completing quality documentation.

Responsibilities

• Perform first-off, in-process, and final inspections on machined components and monitor schedules.
• Verify dimensions, tolerances, and surface finishes against drawings and customer specs.
• Complete inspection reports and quality documentation accurately and timely.
