Purpose of Job

To be part of the Senior Management Team responsible for undertaking comprehensive assessments with vulnerable children and their families in a residential setting, applying the Framework for the Assessment of Children in Need and their Families (2000) and adhering to Working Together to Safeguard Children (2023).

Additionally, to supervise and oversee a team of Family Assessment Workers, providing support, advice, performance reviews, and ensuring a high standard of service aligned with our organisation's values and standards.

Dudley Lodge is a UK-registered non-profit organisation established in 1895, and one of the leading Family Assessment Centres in England and Wales. Our primary focus is safeguarding children.

We have conducted quality Family Assessments for over 30 years across two sites: Coventry and Birmingham.

Our mission is to provide the Courts and relevant parties with high-quality, independent assessments, interventions, and services related to parental capacity and child safety, promoting children's wellbeing.
